Hello! I've received offers from St Andrews for MLitt Postcolonial and World Literatures and from Durham for MA Twentieth and Twenty-First Century Literary Studies. My area of interest is based in Indian Partition Literature, so I'm leaning a little more towards St Andrews, but I'm still very confused as to which university I should choose.

I'm an international student, so I don't have a clue what either university is like. If anyone has studied in either, what's the campus life like? Does the collegiate system at Durham matter for a postgraduate student? What are the cities like? The university life?

Also, Durham seems to rank higher than St Andrews internationally right now. Does this matter? Not sure what the right choice is.
