strawberries14 Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 (edited) Hi everyone! I have currently narrowed down my offer choices for MS Biostatistics Programs to two schools. These schools are Columbia University and Brown University. Columbia has given me no aid, but Brown has given me a 70% scholarship. I am aware that both schools are very prestigious; however, Columbia is higher in prestige and reputation than Brown. On the other hand, I would have to spend around $150K (in loans) for Columbia's Master's Program, while Brown's total cost of attendance is less than half this amount. I would appreciate any input regarding what choice you would take. Any information regarding the programs themselves, and the job opportunities upon graduation for both programs would be helpful! Thank you in advance. Edited March 31, 2021 by strawberries14
bayessays Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 I think Brown's biostat program is equally or more prestigious, so I would go there.
