Can't find a supervisor for research!!!

I started applying last year in September for Master's in Microbiology and Immunology as a self-paying international student in Canada. Started applications for few universities however, caught Covid and suffered for 2 months and was only able to submit one application to my top school. Luckily, I got an email offer from them but its conditional pending a supervisor approval.

I have been emailing supervisors but so far I have not had any luck. I either don't get any response at all or just one saying "not accepting students".

I feel like I am too late and there is no spot left. The one I want to work with has not responded to my emails at all. I tried contacting others who do similar work but no luck. 

What should I do in this situation? How can I secure a supervisor?
