Advice needed: disclose fellowship when applying for GRA positions?

Hi all!

I looked through the forum and haven't seen anything about this yet, but I might be searching the wrong keywords.

I'm almost fully funded through a fellowship and will be starting my master's program this fall. I am applying for GRA positions in a few labs, hoping to get more involved in research (the fellowship does not involve a research component and I am interested in pursuing a career in academia). I'm currently writing a cover letter for a GRA position that I'm very interested in. The availability of this GRA position is dependent on funding. Should I disclose the fellowship, as it might affect how much funding would need to be available?

If so, how can I bring this up - in the cover letter? In a separate conversation?
