I have been accepted to these programs:

University of Michigan- MS in Information- 2 years

Cornell University- Master of Professional Studies in Information Science- 1 year

UMich is regarded more in the industry. However, Cornell has a better brand value.

I am an international student and I wish to find job post my degree. Now, UMich has internship programs, that can be helpful in finding a job. On the other hand if i join the MPS at Cornell I will not be able to intern since it’s a one year program. To make up for it they have 1 compulsory and 1 optional project with industry partners(Amazon, Yahoo, FB, etc).

Which program would be the better choice?
