jetart5 Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 I am a rising sophomore at an LAC majoring in physics. During my freshman year of college (Fall2020 during covid). I did something extremely stupid and collaborated with my roommate during a take home computer science exam. I got an F as a punishment, and I think about it all the time and it pisses me off how stupid I was to do commit such a heinous act. I will probably retake the course again. The dishonesty is an internal record but permanent (will never be destroyed) but I will still probably have to report it to grad school. I know for sure I will probably not get into a T20 or Ivy grad school for architecture. Do I have any chance with a T60 architecture school, provided my portfolio and gpa are strong? Is it even worth for me to apply with this record? Am I completely shut out of the architecture/civil engineering field for good with such an academic dishonesty record?

Engre collects the best civil engineering companies on its website. I was surprised that there are branches in civil engineering and how interesting it is. Unfortunately, with your record, I don't know if you will get what you want, but I wish you the best of luck with that! Thank you!
