Knightyear Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 Hello! I have been racking my brain for weeks trying to figure out what grad degree is right for the situation I currently am in. Undergrad: B.S Management Information Systems GPA: 2.88 (working full time while taking 5 classes a semester) Location: Chicago Job Title: Manager Information Technology (top 4 biotech company) Current Salary: 150k Work will cover 35k over the life of MBA. Experience: 9 Years References: CIO and Sr Dr Manufacturing. Id like to remain technical but also gain a degree of value in my current role. Here are some programs that I am looking at: MCIT at U Penn iMBA at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign MIT at Virginia Tech Are MBA’s worth it if not at a top school? Would MCIT be good for remaining technical and checking off the grad box on resumes? I’m trying to boost my Resume and truly remain technical.
