Drömmar Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 (edited) Has anyone heard from the Department about the results of the position? Been've waiting for further information almost for three weeks and got nothing. Sent the thank you letter immediately after the interview and nothing else since then. Do any of you have applied to this position and have you heard anything since the interview? Guys, are 3 weeks (15 working days) a normal routine for evaluation process? Last time when I applied for Lund, they sent out the ranking one week after the interview. However, for Uppsala this time, I heard nothing. That's why I freaked out waiting it. Should I sent another follow-up mail to the supervisor? Or I just should move on? Edited October 29, 2021 by Drömmar
MomentRed Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 Hi! I didn't apply for the same position, but for another one with Uppsala. Like you, I was shortlisted around the same time then interviewed a few weeks later. I was just wondering if you had finally heard back from them (and how long it took overall) or if you're still waiting? thanks!
Drömmar Posted November 23, 2021 Author Posted November 23, 2021 Hello there! Seems things are not working around for me. I'm still waiting for the result, but chances are really slim I think. Below is a timeline of my process since the interview, I hope it will be useful. 8th Oct. interview 2nd Nov. mailed the supervisor and got a quick and short reply that the result will be published within one week 12th Nov. mailed the coordinator of the position, got no reply One of the PhD students at Uppsala, different department, told me that the admission process can be really long and complicated. Another teacher also suggested the same point. Good luck (for both of us)!
