Kumari Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Curious to know if anyone knew the average time it took to complete a biostats PhD. I've been hearing 4-5 years. Does that sound right? Any chance one could do it in 4 or less?
statsguy Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 5-6 years is more accurate. It depends on your background (for example, if you already have a Master's degree.) It's pretty rare to finish under 5 years.
