Jennie6785 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Hey everyone! I was just looking through the admissions requirements for the social work program at UW-Madison, and I noticed that they require a criminal background check. Does anyone know for what purpose they request this? It seems like a prejudgment -- contrary to the general mission behind social work. What do you guys think?
anthropologygeek Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Well a know some maw programs rehired internship for their program and if it's a state internship by law u must pass a background check. If ure worried about it u may want to reconsider the field since most jibs are govenment jobs whch requires a background check
