Phd CS,ECE on Computer Architecture

Hi everyone. I am not sure whether there are any people on the site these days but I am doing my research about universities to do my PhD.

The area that I am interested in is Computer Architecture and especially multi-core, many-core architectures and heterogeneous processors.

There are some top 10 universities like Carnegie Mellon, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Texas-Austin but they are pretty ambitious for me.

Can you recommend me some mid level or backup universities and professors who are doing research in this area.
