Sami Johansen Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 I applied to a major university's industry-focused computer science (kinda) MS this cycle, with what I hoped was a fairly competitive application. Decisions are slated to come out "end of February to early March." However, I just got an offer from another company for MUCH more than my current salary. At the same time, I was approved for an internal transfer at my company to a team I really wanted to be on. Anyone know how to ask the admissions committee and ask for an early decision so that I can avoid leaving people upset? I don't want to mess over the new team by leaving after four months, and if I knew I'd be accepted to grad school I'd stay at my company.
StatBeast69 Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Yeah, I do not think it works like that my mate. Ask for an extension from the company.
