Mila vs UMass CS PhD

Hello All,

I'm trying to decide between two offers for graduate studies in CS focusing on AI.

- Mila/UdeM - Msc with option to fast-track to PhD after 1 year

- UMass - Amherst (MS/PhD)

Both programs are funded.

I'm interested in pursuing industry research positions after graduation. Obviously there are lots of other factors to consider, but I'm just wondering first of all if either program has a significantly better reputation for future industry research prospects?
