midwest Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Hi, I am new to the Communications board (however, I have been a frequenter of the Political Science board lately) I am very interested in Political Communication and am somewhat torn between applying to a Communication program or a PoliSci program. More specifically, public opinion, political campaigns and consulting, and all forms/mediums/sources of political messaging are of interest. Without getting too in depth, doe anyone have any recommendations as to good Political Communications programs? Any thoughts on whether to go the PoliSci or Comm route? Much appreciated.
naptown Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 I'm starting at Ohio State this fall, not for political comm, but in that same school of comm. The political communication emphasis is a big draw here, and the faculty in that area are prolific and increasingly well known (Eveland, Holbert, and a bunch of others). Check it out, it might be a fit for you.
