MFA First time teaching advice?

Hey all. 

Was wondering if anyone else got accepted into a program that's fully funded through teaching assistantships. I'm a both equally excited as I am anxious at the thought of teaching a class for the first time this fall. Any advice from current grad students with teaching experience?

Ask for materials and lecture content in advance. Make sure your teaching a topic your skilled in etc.
