amy. Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Hi, I´m in the process of applying to various Spanish Literature Programs. While I have found the top ten rankings in US and News Report, I quite honestly am not that interested in applying to this level of Graduate School. At this point I believe I will be ending with my MA degree and would like to teach at a community college level. Ì want to find a good, challenging, well respected but not top, super-competitive, cut-throat school. How can I possibly determine which programs are stronger than others? I`m specifically interested in evaluating programs in FL: Florida State University, University of Florida, Florida Atlantic University, University of Central Florida and University of South Florida. Please help guide me in the right direction. Also, another random question... In my SoP it probably wont sound right to say that I am interested in ending at my MA and teaching, don´t most schools look for applicants with research interests? Am I supposed to fake these or better stated, overstate my interests?
