is anybody here interested or enrolled in a graduate program in environmental ethics or environ. philosphy?

I have been reading a few articles and it seems it's mainly arm-chair reasoning. is there any field work/ field studies? can someone point out papers that have field work?

I mainly read abstracts but none of them seem to give a hint of field work, not even using a survey or focus group.

The University of North Texas has a terrific, well-thought of environmental ethics program. They do policy as well as traditional philosophy. You might take a look at their website; a number of top scholars teach there.

University pf Oregon is all about environmental philosophy, as well as UC Santa Cruz. The latter program is suffering right now, not accepting PhD apps... check out Oregon though.

I'm not sure exactly what kind of field work you're looking for, but Texas A&M has two great professors in this area: Gary Varner and Clare Palmer. You should check them out.
