Hello! I'm looking to apply to graduate school this fall, for painting. One thing that is really important to me, besides the quality of the program and faculty, is the cost and extent of financial support. I know that Yale has good need-based scholarships and Rutgers gives full ride scholarships, but I heard that Columbia's financial aid is shoddy (not sure). I know typically graduate school is just a fast track to years of debt and big scholarships are more rare, but just trying to find more info. Does anyone have any info about RISD? Or Columbia? Is it possible to get more than 50% tuition covered, thru scholarships/assistantships and all that ? If not, then I'm considering Hunter as well just for the money.
