i want universities in Texas,California or Illinois

My profile is

SSC : 70%

Inter : 72%

B.tech : 60.83%(2010 pass out,16 backlogs)

GRE : 990+ (v: 340, Q:650)

TOEFL : 94

i want to apply for spring 2011

plz suggest me few good universities that suits my profile

I'm not sure how to evaluate your SSC, Inter or B.tech, but your GRE is pretty low. If you prepare for it and retake you should be able to get a higher grade - I'm guessing English isn't your first language, so the verbal part might be harder for you, but you really need to get a higher GRE score to have a decent shot - at least 1100 to 1200.

Pls, I applied for master program in petroleum engineering for spring 2011 and i was wondering what period i should start receiving responses (Acceptance/Rejection/Waiting) from the schools? Early/Mid/late October or November? Any idea?

I am an international student with BSc in petroleum engineering.
