Hello everyone!

I am a lawyer from Sri Lanka with background in policy and legislative services. I recently completed my Master of Laws (LL.M.) from UC Berkeley Law School. I am planning to apply for a Ph.D. in Political Science, as that is where my interests lie. I am very interested in learning more about legislatures and political institutions. I have career experience in this area. I have a good idea what subfield (comparative politics) and research topic I want to explore. In addition to the LL.M., I  have a Masters in International Relations as well. My question is would I have a chance in getting admitted to a good US University for a Political Science Phd? I do not have an undergraduate degree in Politics Science, and only degrees in related fields (law and IR).  But I have relevant career experience ( 4+ years). I would welcome your insight and any suggestions! Thank you!!
