I am applying PhD for fall 2023, and my partner is applying MD/PhD for fall 2023. I was recently invited to interview with Harvard (obviously very excited about this, and heard from the program director that the admission rate post interview is very high). My partner applied to Harvard MSTP, and has not had any update. Is it worth it for me to email the Harvard AdCom for my program to inform them of our two-body problem? Would this increase the chances of my partner getting an interview? Should I wait to mention this caveat to my acceptance of their offer until my interview/actual admission decision? Help! P.S. any advice about the two-body problem would be appreciated.
