Stafford Loans for British University

Hello All,

Frazzled trying to obtain accurate information on acceptance of Stafford Loans

by British universities. The FAFSA lists University of Leicester and provides a code.

Direct Loans verifies that Leicester participates in Stafford program. However, I am

concerned as to whether this applies to Distance Learning international students.

I've read dated, contradictory posts suggesting the law had changed on this, and

perhaps it has changed again since. I can call the school directly, but

I'm too A.D.D. to wait ... given the time zone gap.

Any information greatly appreciated.
