Yale IDE Fall 23 Decision Thread

Starting this thread for anyone who has applied to or been accepted to Yale International and Development Economics program.

I am still waiting on results. Has anyone been accepted yet?

Decisions on the "Results" page of GradCafe from recent years seem to have been around EoM. Let's keep each other posted. 

Also, where else did you guys apply?

Yes, it seems like they release the decisions in late March every year. I have applied and was admitted to Columbia, LSE (1-year MSc in Economics), NYUAD and Tufts so far. Waitlisted at Duke. What about you guys?

Congratulations on your acceptances @avggradschoolapplicant! Which school do you plan on attending?

I applied and was admitted to Fordham IPED (Full tuition+Stipend) and still waiting on Yale IDE. Part of me wishes I had applied to Jackson MPP instead since they have more funding (important to me as I want to avoid loans) and flexibility to tailor one's curriculum with other schools' classes.

A friend got the results on March 16th last year. And Bocconi requires a decision by the 30th so Yale is cutting it close.

Does anyone have a clue when the decisions will come out 🧐?

Apparently admitted students got an email from the department head earlier today. Have any of yall received an email? Either accepting or rejection?
