Sapphira Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Hello, Is anyone on here familiar with the Distance Learning Program at University of Florida? Could you give me some tips or pointers? Due to my husband's job, we will be moving around quite a bit and their program will suit my needs. I'm applying for their Ph.D program in Education (Fall2011). How important are the GREs? To be honest, I'm quite nervous regarding this, since I'm not a good standardized test taker. In addition, how important is experience? I have literally zero experience in teaching or education. Not to mention, I don't work in an educational type setting. I have BA and MA in German, yet German teaching jobs (Community college level) are hard to come by. I do tutor German privately. But that is the extent of my teaching experience. Will my limited experience hinder me of getting into the program. Also does anyone know if college admission rate applicant packages differently if the program is pursued online? Thanks.
