Public Policy and Philosophy in LSE

Hi,

Is anyone familiar with this program? http://www2.lse.ac.uk/philosophy/study/mastersProgrammes/PhilosophyAndPublicPolicy.aspx

I am interested in the ethics behind some of the more controversial public policy issues. I would eventually like to get a PhD and work in a think tank or in academia. Would you recommend this program to me or is there another one that is similar or better?

I have a good friend who just graduated from this program - he had a great time and found it a valuable experience. I know that's probably not the sort of detail you were looking for, I'm not a policy person so I have no idea, but he's pretty sharp (we studied philosophy as undergrads together) so I respect his judgement.
