MA's at Central European University

Is anyone here familiar with the MA programs in History and Medieval Studies at CEU? I have a BA in History and will have a not entirely related MA, but I am looking to sharpen my skills (particularly language skills) for a medieval studies -related Ph.D. Besides CEU, I am on the look out for funded MA programs in medieval studies in general...

I am also interested in information about the History Department at CEU--how reputable it is, if it`s possible to transfer to a good American PhD program afterwards, etc. I am mostly interested in Austria-Hungary and it feels like it would be a good fit, but perhaps its better to look for stronger American schools?
