Applying to FSU social?

Hi everyone,

I'm a first year social PhD student at FSU. If anyone is considering applying to FSU's social (or other) program and has any questions, I am more than happy to help. wow, this is pretty lucky that I saw your post considering FSU Social Psychology is my first choice haha Who are you working with? If you don't mind me asking, what were your credentials (research experience, grades, GRE, etc.) when you applied?

3.6 UGPA from UVA, 4.0 Master's GPA from UNC Wilmington, 1370 GRE (620 V, 750 Q)....I came in with a decent amount of research experience, having worked in a lab in undergrad and volunteered in one after graduating from college. Also, I had a master's thesis which provided even more research experience and a manuscript. But I definitely don't think I had a lot going into the process. I work with Jon Maner but obviously Baumeister is a huge name in social psychology. Good luck all
