elena Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Hi! I would be very much interested to know what you guys think about the UMass? Is it a good school? have you heard anything about job prospects for Umass alumni? They offered a full fellowship, but i am not sure, as I also have a partial fellowship offer from an Ivy school. I would be so much grateful to you for any advice about US schools!
ladyseacow Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I just know that it is not a school that is accredited by NASPAA...don't know if that matters to you. Also, full scholarship there only means they cover about $1000; you still have to pay fees and it is not cheap to live in Boston. The best deal out there for UMass is to get a full time job at the school itself (search the job postings) and then you get the whole thing for free plus you get income and can go to school in the evening...

NASPAA accreditation means nothing! Not even Princeton is 'accredited' -- neither is Columbia, Georgetown, UCLA, Berkeley or Chicago!
