Nilanjana Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Hi, I'm trying to help out a friend who is applying for grad studies for next Fall and is very interested in the master of engineering management program at Cornell, Stanford, Duke etc. Does anyone know how industrially relevant this course is and, more importantly, what the requirements are? His GRE score is 1420 (800 in quantitative and 620 in verbal) , and his CGPA is 7.64/ 10.... he has previous work experience in Yahoo! (for six months) and a Canadian power phase company, for whom he started work in August. Can anyone tell me what his chances of admission might be? Oh and he's an electrical engineer, he's completed his B.E. Also, if anyone has an idea about the weightage of these admission components, could you please tell me? I mean what is considered more important, letters of recommendation or GRE score or grades? Thanks! Nilanjana
