Texas A&M University, College Park

University of California, San Diego

I am ready to take loan for the course if absolutely necessary, but obtaining some sort of funding is very important for me. My main objective is to obtain a good job at some top company after i graduate. I would also love to wet my feet in research while pursuing my MS. Any suggestions for the univs I am applying to or about univs I should be considering?

If you feel I have left out any information, please ask for the same

I won't claim to be an expert on this, but everyone I've talked to seems to think that PhD is the way to get funded, whereas MS is much more difficult to do so.

Princeton gives funding to MS students and has a very strong networking group.

The odds of you finding funding in any MS program are slim to none, very few programs will provide funding.

INI Carnegie Mellon gives partial funding to students in their MS in Information Networking. There are a couple threads on here about that program.
