Hi all,

I am currently a senior at a public liberal arts university (transferred 81hrs from a small private university) and will be graduating Spring '12 with a Literature degree with teacher licensure.

My overall GPA is not so great--3.073-- because I screwed up in the first semester. This semester, I am working very hard and expect that my GPA will reflect this.

-intended major: either medieval lit or linguistics

-have an on-campus job working with the re-accreditation team doing lots of fun things like data collection and analysis (could this be slightly beneficial?).

- taken 18hrs in French (getting a minor)

-plan on doing UG research in old and middle English linguistics.

What else can I do to increase my chances of getting into grad schools?
