gradstudent84 Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I know that it's recommended FAFSA applications be completed and submitted after taxes are filed, but when do we start applying for scholarships and fellowships? Do people apply for those AFTER getting accepted when they know they will get in or before, when simultaneously applying for the grad programs? Sorry if it's such a stupid question, but I've looked at some of the schools' websites where I'm applying to and I haven't found any info, such as deadlines
eklavya Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Most schools consider that you are applying for scholarships and fellowships as well when you turn in your application. If otherwise, the department website usually instructs on how to go about it, if not the main grad admission webpage. However, this is mostly for PhD applications, and is certainly true in my field. I do not have adequate knowledge in other fields and/or with MS applications.
