sandls
Hi, I created a little write-up about my experience in preparing for GRE, especially the English part. It has the books and other resources that helped me. Hopefully it will help someone. http://www.answerbunch.com/Answer/20/GRE-Preparation-Experience
Bukharan
I agree with your arguments. Not studying for GRE when you have a chance is careless and makes little sense. I started studying 5 months in advance. I learned infamous Barron's Word List by heart. All of it. I only spent like half an hour a day - when I was on the bus to work - so I didn't technically spent any 'real' time studying. It does work. Some people are naturally brilliant but most people need to work hard to get their perfect score.
sandls
Absolutely agree, in my case the difference between studying and not studying for GRE was more than 200 points for each section. I think verbal section has the most potential for improvement, since a lot of it is just pure memorization. http://www.answerbunch.com/Answer/25/Improving-Vocabulary-for-GRE http://www.answerbunch.com/Answer/20/GRE-Preparation-Experience
