aheller Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 My interest is to enter the non-profit sector--ultimately I'd like to be involved with consulting to folks who're facing new requirements for grants and government funding. To that end, I'm looking for an applied Master's that might eventually lead to a PhD if it's just that much fun. A couple questions: Any recommendations on programs on the eastern seaboard (US) that might be well-geared toward consulting? And, preferably, take a little less of a traditional approach to economics? (some of the research at GMU comes to mind) Also: I'm looking at some programs that are a bit less traditional, and probably a bit less selective. Undergrad GPA 3.3, GRE-Q 630 (and GRE-V 690, fwiw). Any advice is great. Thanks!
