(sorry, this was crossposted in the econ forum)

I'm going to Chicago Law next year, and I was wondering if that would give me an advantage in applying for their Econ PhD program the following year. I probably wouldn't be able to get into their program normally, but I was thinking I might have a leg up if I'm already at the law school.

On a related topic, do I need to have an 800 quantitative to get into a #1 econ program?
