supark3 Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 For those who have applied to Cog Psyc Ph. D programs for Fall 2011, are there any people who were offered interviews?? Why don't we share our GRE scores, CGPA and the schools we've applied to?? I've applied to Stanford U, Harvard, Yale, MIT, Columbia U, WashU, NYU, Northwestern and U of Texas-Austin. I've got 1300 for the GRE and I am a senior at UIUC majoring in Psych. I have a CGPA of 3.98. I have not heard from any of the schools yet. I know that some people were offered interviews and all.. I'm so nervousTTT What about you guys who've applied to cog psych for Fall 2011??
khasiv Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 (edited) My list is in my signature (computational modeling and psycholinguistics), but my GRE's 700/780/5.5 V/Q/A and my GPA's a 3.88/4. Kind of vanilla stats, really. Much better than last year, but still kind of obnoxiously overachiever of me. I'm at UT, though, and I don't think we've started sending out invitations. Who are you interested in working with? Edited January 16, 2011 by khasiv

At UT, I'm interested in working with Wilson Geisler, Mary Hayhoe, Alex Huk and Eyal Seidemann. It's a relief that they have not been sending out invitations yet. I still haven't heard from any of the universities yet... I'm so nervous these days...!! checking on my e-malis literally every other seconds... lol So you've applied to UIUC too. Who are you interested in working with? I might be able to give you some tips!haha
