DataScienceDemocrat Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 Hi, could anyone help me better understand my chances for Ph.D. programs? I’ll be applying after undergrad (considering a dual degree with MPP). I’m currently at a T10 university and have worked with my lab for all four years. My Undergrad GPA is 3.5. And by the time of applying, I’ll have four publications (1 first author). I have worked/interned with several prominent political organizations but have mainly worked with my lab. Hoping to focus on political data! Planning on taking the GRE as well. My dream program would be Georgetown, but I understand its competitiveness. I know my GPA is below average for Ph.D. applicants, but I am very passionate about the research I want to pursue. I am hoping my letter of recommendation will also help my application. If anyone has similar stats/interests, could you advise me on other graduate programs I should look at? Thank you :)
