I'm applying for a PhD this year and the prompt says that the personal statement "should include a proposed plan of study based on the course offerings at ASU." My point of contact said that I should build my plan of study around the 54 credit hour requirement. I had them listed in a paragraph, but my reviewers said it was too much, so I now have them in a bulleted list after paragraphs (i.e., A paragraph about how these courses would help, then the bulleted list), but that seems like a faux pas.

I'm just not sure how to best tackle this! Also, are headings okay? Or at least a heading for the plan of study? Can I reach out to current students and ask how they handled it?
