Hello,

I applied for School Psychology PhD programs for fall 2024 and have taken a look at pervious threads from past years but had not seen one from this year. Where are you all applying and what has the wait been like so far?

I applied to one School Psych PhD this cycle at University of Memphis. My School Psych application was a last minute addition, but the research and program fit is perfectly aligned with my goals long-term. They rest of my applications were for Clinical and Counseling programs. This is my first cycle applying, so I don't really know what to expect, but the waiting has been hard already.

I applied to 4 doctoral programs in school psychology: Michigan State, Loyola Chicago, University of Virginia (clinical/school), and SUNY Buffalo (counseling/school). All had December 1st deadlines, except for Loyola which was due November 15th. Haven't heard anything yet!

I know MSU has started with prelim interviews with PIs which makes me a little nervous.

Rejected from Loyola and on the waitlist for UVA (no interview, though).

Still waiting for SUNY Buffalo and MSU. Has anyone heard anything from either of these 2?
