Hi, everyone! I'm currently applying to a few online MA's. At this point in my life, I'm only in a position to do an online program. I would much rather have in-person seminars, but if I want to get an MA (which I've been delaying for 16 years!), this is what I have to do.

I just want to know if anyone here has completed one and if you were able to have a meaningful relationship with your advisors, professors, and fellow students while doing so. I completed a 2-year teaching certificate completely online, so I know I'm capable of doing the work, but one of the aspects I loved about undergrad was the immediate feedback I got from a classroom environment. I'm wondering how much I'll be missing out on by not having that. I'm worried it won't feel like an authentic experience.

I'd particularly love to know what it was like working on a capstone/thesis in the absence of in-person meetings.
