econ_2024 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Hello, I'm wondering if any former(or current) Georgetown Econ PhD applicants can shed light on the status of my application. Firstly, I'm not asking the department directly because they say not to inquire about the application status in their FAQ. I applied to the program in January and haven't heard anything since. It appears they've sent out a few offers, waitlists, and quite a few rejections based on reports from gradcafe but I've heard nothing. The lack of a formal rejection makes me think that I've been silently waitlisted but I really have no idea. I have a few other comparable offers I'm weighing but GU would be my first choice so I would like to have closure on where I stand. Does anyone have experience with the GU Econ admissions process? Do they tend to do late rolling admissions or am I past the point of no return now? Appreciate any insight you could give.
Rafiul Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Georgetown University rejected my application on 28 Feb. I guess you are still on the waitlist—best of luck.
