nevolucion
I'm single and early retired (FIRE'd) in my mid-40s. My goal is to obtain a masters in political science to qualify to teach as an adjunct professor around the country (USA), ideally hopping to a different city every few semesters. I'm considering Columbia, MIT, and Harvard Extension School for their political science / government programs. What advice would you give to someone in my shoes? Frank Knight
It's not a realistic option tbh. The market is flooded with un/underemployed PhDs and you probably won't be able to get adjunct jobs with just an MA. The sort of places where you could find something with just an MA are middle of nowhere towns, making 30-40k/year with minimal job security or benefits.
