Luke99 Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I'm currently an undergrad student looking into master's programs in statistics and math that would potentially prepare me for Ph.D studies. The criteria I'm looking at in order of importance: cost - Everything seems so expensive, I'm not looking to go into a bunch of debt so something that's funded, cheap, or offers big scholarships would be nice prestige - Not really a big deal to me personally but I know reputation is important Location - I prefer East Coast US but am open to anything Any recommendations would be appreciated I know that the conventional wisdom is to just apply straight to Ph.Ds from undergrad which I plan on doing as well, this is just more of a backup option in case I get rejected from everywhere
bayessays Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Wake Forest is the first place that comes to mind - they have a terminal MS program (they don't have a PhD program), so their program is focused on the MS students and they get RA/TA funding. Luke99 1

Thanks, I'll check them out
