I applied ucla last year for painting and received a rejection letter feb 28. If I remember correctly, interview requests had gone out 2 weeks prior to rejections

Has anyone heard from UMass Amherst? Acceptance or rejection? Site says results should be back mid February.

I received my acceptance from them mid-December. I imagine they are waiting for accepted student decisions before they send out more results.

Did you apply for Studio Art? That’s so early. Probably expecting rejection at this point.

Would you put off MFA for a Fulbright?

I had an interview with an MFA program I like (waiting to hear back). But I just got news I am a finalist, and have an interview next week for an open study Fulbright. The project I proposed is kinda cool, western europe, learning about ceramic painting at an interdisciplinary ceramic and glass research center.  

 

at this point, I haven't gotten either offer haha so maybe I'm counting my chickens. just curious since they are so different.

I haven’t heard anything as well. I saw your other posts and I’m also assuming I’ve been rejected. But, there’s the small part of me like hmm what if I’m wrong lol

Tbh I think I’d have a hard time turning down the Fulbright if offered lol sounds like a pretty cool topic, and I’d imagine completing a Fulbright would make you really stand out next MFA cycle if that’s the route you went. Kudos on both opportunities!

I’m in a similar position! I’m a Fulbright semi-finalist and have a MFA offer. Struggling with the same question lol

Just received an acceptance from SAIC photo yesterday (2/17)! Seems a bit early since I just interviewed 2/15, but I’m super excited!! I hope everyone is holding up after interviews!

Just had my interview with Rutgers! They only asked 3 questions. I feel like I rambled and got a little nervous because they just let you go. I definitely bombed the last question.

Got a call that I got into Syracuse! Have to wait until they follow up with how much scholarship money I'll receive.

I had mine too!! But I felt like I didn't say enough... 15 mins is so short

It really is. I will say that the interviewers did make me feel comfortable.

Has anyone heard back from UT Knoxville or LSU?  My friend got an interview invitation at LSU around 4-5 days after the application closed, but I'm assuming that's not standard. Just in case anyone else is waiting, though, someone I know did hear back from LSU. Exciting for them!

I'm assuming I'm about to face rejections, but I'm still holding out hope for these two!

I'm assuming I'm about to face rejections, but I'm still holding out hope for these two! 

I interviewed with UT Knoxville (sculpture) in late January and was waitlisted about a week ago. Not sure if other departments have reached out for interviews though so hoping you hear from them soon!!

Hi, is it fine to still wait for Rutgers invitation for interview? I emailed them and they said I will be communicated via e-mail if and when I will be contacted for interview. Maybe they are late because I am international student? have any of you received rejection? please help , I am going crazy
