I really wish I could but I was asked not to publicly share as they are currently trying to figure out whether or not their current students will continue to receive funding and haven't disclosed that information to them yet. I can tell you that it isn't a program dealing with the literature or ancient history sides of the field and the program isn't within a classics department at the institution. I hope that info helps a bit!

It was an archaeology program within an art history department so as long as you're not focusing on mediterranean archaeology, all's good! Dash3 1

It feels like such a backhanded compliment to get denied in that way, I hope the clarity of it being circumstantial makes you feel a little better about your accomplishments. Hopefully that fact also means you will be the perfect choice for another program. I understand empirically why this process exists in the it does, but it is not make the next few weeks easy for anyone. I wish you the best, and hopes for a different program to come through for you.

unknownartist Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I heard that Columbia sent out acceptances as well. I don't know about waitlists. I emailed both the IFA and Columbia to get an update on my application status but I haven't heard. I don't know why they don't just release rejection letters already. These are the only two programs I am waiting to hear from at this point.

wwwwww_ Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Has anyone heard from Williams MA program? I saw someone posted acceptance and interview on the results board…
obh Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Had an interview with Williams this week. I anticipate hearing a final response in the next week or so. But it's been radio silence from the two MA programs at the Courtauld to which I applied (MA in History of Art & MA in Art Business). Does anyone know when the Courtauld might be releasing admissions for those who applied before January 20th?

Expand It is weird because you have to login, open your application, and then click my applications at the top and it then has the message of an offer (at least for me). I applied for the 19th Century Paris-London-New York option. I talked with David Peters Corbett over the summer about his option being a good fit for me as I am planning to specialize in the work of the Macchiaioli (the Italian Impressionists) but no one outside of Italy studies them so it has been very challenging finding professors willing to facilitate a thesis on them.
