I am still waiting for the official email from the Courtauld even though my application says I have a conditional offer. Has anyone else received an official email?

Not applying this cycle (actually pretty surprised that I dig out my super old Gradcafe account lol).

Acceptance is out on Feb28, wl should be too (unless they are waiting for something). Won't hurt if you want to email the admission and ask for your status.

The IFA cut their admissions intake from 12 to 6 people so that may have something to do with that - the first 6 people on their waitlist would have been accepted under other circumstances

Is anyone else stuck in waitlist purgatory? Man, this sucks! I hope I know wayyy before April 15. 

I am waiting on this fully funded MA to hopefully (hopefully!!!) take me off, otherwise I will have to take out loans to go to Bard Grad Center or Tufts which I'm not really keen on doing. Sigh 😞

I did and have yet to hear anything. At this point I figured I was a lost cause haha

Not sure if this is meant for PhDs, but i just received my decision for Hunter College's AH MA

re: CUNY PhDs, a friend of mine was in nyc last week for their prospective students events, and from what she told me it seems like the majority of people at those events had been admitted or waitlisted

ugh im sorry that you’re in the same boat 😢 it sucks to kind of have hope? but also not really? and planning for the future is so hard. 
 

this is a small program so idk if it’s unwise to share this but i will anyway why not. im the first alternate for Winterthur/U Delaware’s fully funded ma. reallyyyyyyy really hope everyone is right when they say at least one person won’t commit, but 🤷‍♀️ it is a weird year

I am also the first alternate, which almost feels worse because the hope is so high but no confirmation... and Winterthur is a fantastic program!!! Being so close but not knowing certainly takes a toll. Fingers so crossed for you. 😕 I know how you feel.
