Me too, let's see if more are coming. They tend to release all acceptances in a few waves, not one by one, I think, but I could be wrong

Are you saying this based on previous cycles? (that they tend to send acceptances in a few waves and not all at once?)

Yes based on previous cycles, no inside-track information here, and would really appreciate it if someone is familiar with the situations of wl being released before acceptances and could explain a bit

Based on what I have seen in forums of previous years, it could be the case that waitlisted candidates have been informed earlier and different faculty members are writing to accepted students one-by-one or in smaller batches.

By the way, I saw one applicant's post who received 6 admission offers, including offer from MIT as of today 😀 seems that for some applicants; this application cycle goes quite well.

When you first posted it, mine was still there, but they disappeared just now. Maybe you are right

Fit matters! I just got waitlisted at Minnesota after getting into Northwestern and UW-Madison. I know they are relatively comparable peer institutions, but this really shows that fit makes a difference because both of the schools I was accepted to so far I think are a better fit.

So I applied for Notre Dame and the acceptance, waitlist, and the rejections are out. However, I still did not get anything. What do you guys think this means? Should I prepare for a rejection?

If you haven't gotten a result you aren't rejected yet! I made this assumption and was mid spiral when I recieved an acceptance, stay positive!

So I received the invite for UCLA's preview day last week and have been waiting patiently for a status update, but since I've seen two letters posted on Reddit over the past couple of days by accepted students I just went for it and made a MyUCLA account with the UID given to me in the portal. From there, I got a "Congratulations on your admission to UCLA" message on the MyUCLA homepage with Political Science Fall 2025 listed as well. Unfortunately it won't let me access my financial aid letter at the moment but I'm hoping that'll start working once I can get the IT departments help on Monday. 

TL;DR if you were invited to Preview Day but have had no official confirmation, just make a MyUCLA account!

Does anyone have any updates from UNC Chapel Hill? They released acceptances on January 30. Someone posted that they received a rejection a few days later, but I'm starting to think that was a troll.

They had an unusually small size last year due to over acceptance the year before, so hopefully they would admit more this year. I heard they are asking for university administration for final approval on the number of students allowed.

It was posted by me so it's not a troll. I contacted the department admin right after I saw rejs and offers here and was informed they would not consider my application anymore. Good luck with your application, if you have applied to it.

Sorry for assuming it was a troll post, my bad! I’ll reach out to the department since I haven’t heard anything either—feels like a silent rejection. Thanks for sharing, and best of luck with everything!

I see nothing like that on my portal. Are you talking about Ann Harbor?
