Saw someone claiming WashU acceptance in IR sub-field. By any chance, does anyone know if their IR cohort is complete?

I think they were accepted off the waitlist. And just some time back, another person had said they were turning down their offer.  Looks like their waitlist is moving.

They said they weren’t on the waitlist (there is an actual waitlist that people were notified about earlier this month).

its not waitlist. Washu paused the offers for a while, recently just sent out the rest.

That’s actually what I was assuming happened, since both people who posted about acceptances this week said they had not been notified about being on the waitlist.

I haven't heard anything from Penn yet (IR subfield).

As far as I know, their funding is a completely different (much later) decision. But tbh, I would not expect a funding package from any of the London institutions if you did not specifically apply to a funded program.

So, is it fair to still have some holes from UPenn? Because except for one acceptance, there are no acceptances posted here or on the results page.

Hi there, I wanted to check if anyone has heard back from MIT's Political Science Dept? I applied for the S.M. and the department website says that decisions will be made in late Feb, though Feb has obviously (just) passed and I haven't received any updates by email or the admissions portal. Wanted to see if anyone is in the same boat and open to any advice as to what I should do next!

I see a couple of Duke rejections now. But nothing on my portal yet. I thought they would at least send rejections all at once.

No. The admin guy had said we would hear back on Friday but maybe they were delayed?

I'm still waiting on Harvard, Georgetown, Penn, and Johns Hopkins. It looks from the results page like all of these schools have sent out acceptances by this point—so I'm not too optimistic I've got anything left but rejections. I just wish I knew for sure so that I could focus on getting excited about the option I do have!

I am assuming that based on the fact that acceptances and waitlists seems to have already been released. But AFAIK (correct me if I’m wrong) no one has yet received an official portal update.
