Lily7211 Posted December 13 Posted December 13 Hi everyone, I'm a year and a half out of undergrad (Environmental Studies and Psych) and am applying to grad school this year because I am having the worst time getting hired full time in my field. I'm very interested in conservation psych, so I'm hoping to find a program where I can do research in this sub-field, while getting a stronger foundation in both physical and social science as it pertains to an environmental career. I'll be funding my degree completely from loans and any grants I'm able to earn, so I'm very nervous about it all. Could anyone please tell me if this looks like a solid list of programs, what their experiences were cost-benefit wise, and if I'm missing any programs either domestic or intl? 1. Penn State Social Psych PhD (had a connection to a lab) 2. Yale Master of Environmental Management 3. UCSB Bren MESM 4. UMichigan SEAS MS of Behavior, Education and Communication 5. George Mason Master of Environmental Science and Policy 6. Groningen University Double Degree Masters in Sustainability and Environmental Psychology 7. possibly Columbia MPA in Environmental Science and Policy??? (I've heard mixed things from employers) Thank you!
