loopsjo Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Have any of you been through an interview for PhD programs in education? What did they ask? Any advice for preparing? THANK YOU!!!!
k101 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Congrats! What program is it? My only interview so far asked a LOT about motivations. Why a PhD? Why that school? I had an answer prepared, but be ready to go deeply into it! I also got asked for a specific question I’d be interested in exploring (not just a topic)
loopsjo Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 thank you! this is super helpful. I believe (based on my gradcafe snooping) that you’re a current master’s student at the institution. Most of their doctoral programs seem to be only admitting one candidate, and i think there are somewhere between 3-6 candidates being interviewed for my specific program based on the time slots they offered
